Medit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our RMA and logistics operations. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient supply chain management and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, particularly in quality management.Key Responsibilities:Logistics and Supply Chain Management:Oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring goods are stored efficiently and organized.Collaborate with Korean HQ and distributors to streamline logistics operations and enhance efficiency. This includes customs and global shipping rules/regulations.Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.Negotiate and optimize freight contracts to achieve cost-efficiency.Oversee the timely delivery of products to dealers and end-users, managing customs clearance as necessary.Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, proactively addressing issues to prevent disruptions.Manage the Logistics Specialist to help streamline all shipments.Quality Management System Oversight:Help coordinate with Korea HQ the setup and management of a Quality Management System to ensure compliance with FDA requirements and other regulatory standards.Maintain and continuously improve the quality of logistics operations and product handling.Ensure all operational processes align with quality standards to minimize errors and enhance customer satisfaction.Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement:Assess and recommend logistics software and ERP solutions suitable for Medit’s specific needs.Oversee the implementation and integration of chosen software to enhance operational efficiency.Generate and present regular and ad-hoc reports on team statistics, trends, and performance metrics to senior management.Identify opportunities to streamline logistic operations and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 4+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong track record of setting up and optimizing logistics departments.An understanding of Quality Management Systems, preferably in a regulated industry.Strong technical knowledge related to logistics software and ERP systems.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of building and leading a high-performance team.Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Bachelor’s degreeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
