Job Description
The Position
The Organon Global Procurement & Supplier Management (GPSM) Organization partners with the business to develop and execute direct and indirect sourcing strategies, enabled by agile business processes and strong supplier performance management, to drive improved business outcomes.
This position is for an exciting role on Procurement Process Excellence team. We are looking for an intern to join our Strategic Procurement Operations Team.
Responsibilities
Leading various projects, tracking tasks and completion to target dates, working with various procurement systems and process and procedures.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to assist with benchmarking activities and report analysis.
Ability to assist with development of Procurement Process Excellence SharePoint content.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree required
Analytical - Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive relevant intelligence in developing sourcing strategies or supporting negotiations
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment, Highly capable project management to understand interdependencies between projects, meet timelines, and handle multiple requests at the same time
Microsoft Office/Teams/Outlook/Excel Experience with MS Office Applications is required.
Must be a dependable self-starter.
Must be capable of working independently on multiple projects with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated high level of competence with computers is essential.
