Job Summary
The Business Analysis Team Leader will play a key strategic role in leading and identifying opportunities to streamline and measure key processes in Utility Operations Support (UOS). The position will be responsible for development, implementation, tracking, and measurement of technical training, materials management, and/or fleet operations and planning processes. The Business Analysis Team Leader will be managing the analytics and reporting aspects of the responsective processes, which includes model implementation, management, and enhancement. The Business Analysis Team Leader will also lead the communication, change management, and project coordination for different aspects of UOS.
The position will provide continual functional reviews and analytical support for the different groups within UOS. The Business Analysis Team Leaders will work closely with, UOS management and field personnel to provide regular updates to senior leaders on the process and compliance via performance measurement. The Business Analysis Team Leader is expected to communicate with senior leadership regularly and represent the department at various meetings across all lines of business. Position may need to interpret collective bargaining agreements and work with the company’s unions to improve processes.
Job Responsibilities
•Develop, implement, and manage the key performance indicators of UOS processes and continuous improvement efforts to improve them. Evaluate underlying assumptions and actual results to make informed, independent decisions pertaining to process and direction.
•Act as an internal process consultant to understand current business processes and collaborate with the customer and internal team to brainstorm innovative solutions.
•Lead project management efforts to ensure that all initiatives are completed within the required timeframes for internal processes or regulatory requirements.
•Provide governance of the scheduling and resource planning process, which includes financial analysis of the training process and performance measurement.
•Oversee functional reviews and provide support and oversight of internal audits. Conduct targeted internal reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with training.
•Identify improvement opportunities across the process based on process reviews and recommend/implement solutions to improve the process.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Business/Data Analytics or related major
•At least 8 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Data Analysis, Change Management and/or Low code/no code automations.
•In lieu of a degree, must have 12 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Data Analysis, Change Management and/or Low code/no code automations.
•Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills.
•Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, LMS skills, and/or MS Power Automate
•Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical capability, and financial acumen.
•Ability to function/analyze with limited information.
•Understanding of control concepts and expectations of external auditors
•Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect for all aspects of diversity.
