**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Description:**
- Work as a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services on the Operating Room floor.- The unit has 10 suites, with an average of 30-40 cases per day.- Handle a variety of cases, including General, GYN (including robotics), Plastics (reconstruction of breasts and eyes), Ortho (all ortho including total joints, trauma ortho, neuro spine, excluding pelvis surgeries), DaVinci, Ophthalmology, ENT, Peds-eyes, tonsils, arthroscopy. All pediatrics are same-day surgeries.- Scrubbing is not required but it is a desirable skill.- Support will be provided by a charge nurse and OR techs during each shift.- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system.- Shifts are 8, 10, or 12 hours, depending on department needs, with start times of 0645 and 0945. There is no self-scheduling.- Call requirements are minimal. There are two call teams that cover calls; travelers may need to fill in for vacation/time off.- There are no floating requirements and no holiday call requirements.- Scrub color/dress code: Scrubs provided.- Unit-specific orientation includes one week organized by an educator.- Call response time is 30 minutes.
