A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for Night ICU RN's.13 Weeks, Every other Weekend/Holiday.Open Heart Trained.Job Requirements

Shifts are 0630-1830, 1830-0630.Self-scheduling for core staff, travelers added in.Unable to guarantee block scheduling.Weekend Requirements: Every other.Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group.Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg.Unit/department specific orientation: 3 shifts.Unit Specific Information
Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds.Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress.Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes.Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation.Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630.Equipment: Nasal cannula to vent.RNs required to read and interpret monitor strips.Additional Details
Radius Rule: 50 miles.Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
