SANOFI VACCINES, NORTH AMERICA is seeking a highly skilled people leader with National Accounts experience in the National Health System (NHS) market to lead a team of Directors of National Accounts and Contract Specialists. Customers covered are national in scope and have significant influence and market impact. This leader will support Sanofi’s transformation in how we show up with customers and win with a B2B approach. They will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, possess exceptional leadership, collaboration, and strategic planning abilities, have account management and relevant customer experience, and a track record of driving teams to successfully achieving objectives. This is a remote role.

Main Responsibilities:
As a National Accounts Lead, you will be responsible for:
Achieving sales goals through your team’s execution of comprehensive B2B customer strategies as well as contract and brand strategies.
Coaching team towards:
Surfacing the voice of the customer, translating that to proposed new and innovative solutions, building a business case, and bring key stakeholders along towards a common solution.
Establishing and maintaining a broad footprint of contacts within customers leading to co-creation of value and sustainable business relationships that contribute to Sanofi’s growth.
Robust business planning and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders that leads to collaborative development and execution of strategies.
Support and ensure the incorporation of brand strategies into the broader National Health System strategies.
Ensuring execution of the AM and Brand team strategies.
Inform & activate internal teams towards building novel or enhancing existing brand, customer, or Market Access solutions to enhance Sanofi’s position in the market.
Serve as engaged sponsor and support your team through RFPs and contract negotiations across all product lines.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Brand Marketing, Market Access, Health Information Technology, Health System Solutions, and Strategic Accounts to develop channel strategies that bring the voice of the customer to the center.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other market appropriate events.
Understand and continuously learn the evolving US Healthcare landscape including HIT, quality, health equity, value-based care, finance, and innovation and can translate this knowledge into actionable insights and solution.
About You

Collaboration and Sales Orchestration: Lead the team through matrix selling organization where a business-to-business mindset, transformational leadership, influence, innovation clarity, alignment, accountability, and achievement are at the forefront.
Qualifications:
Travel up to 50% of time
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years leading account management teams, specifically in the healthcare industry in the National Health System markets.
Minimum 10+ years related experience in life sciences industry and/or B2B sales
Proven experience leading teams in a B2B capacity and identifying B2B opportunities to create new and innovative solutions with customers.
Proven experience aligning with and inspiring internal stakeholders.
Proven track record of leading and coaching sales teams in complex customers.
Broad understanding of National Health System business, decision making processes & market trends with a proven track record of accessing C-suite to D-suite decision makers.
Proven ability to translate market knowledge and develop strategic plans with internal stakeholders.
Strong negotiation skills, leading cross-functional teams, proven ability to network and develop strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
The ability to coach team members to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects.
Possesses strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Self-directed and organized with excellent execution and planning skills.
Ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment.
Strong ability to analyze data and identify growth opportunities.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Must possess valid driver’s license, be eligible for insurance coverage and must be able to safely operate a vehicle.

The salary range for this position is $201,000.00 - $268,000.00 USD Annually.
