Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Engineer II to be located in the Colorado Springs area. The role involves securing all devices and virtual systems through continuous monitoring and compliance assessments. This includes identifying threats and vulnerabilities using tools like ACAS and ESS, monitoring activities via Splunk, and supporting eMASS package monitoring across three environments. Responsibilities also include conducting verification testing, performing compliance assessments, and training other team members in cybersecurity procedures and tools.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Active Top Secret clearance required to start.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II/IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP); CAP, CND, Cloud+, or GSLC are a plus.
Experience with cybersecurity engineering and familiarity with DoD/Federal cybersecurity policies, such as DoDI 8500.01 and NIST SP 800-53.
Proficiency in using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for cybersecurity, including identifying controls, generating requirements, and conducting compliance testing.
System administration skills for Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), with experience in virtual environments, containers, and dockers.
Familiarity with ConfigOS, ACAS, and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS). null
