There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:The Talent Development Senior Manager is responsible for supporting our talent development efforts across global distribution centers, retail stores, and field leaders. This position leads the strategic design, development, and content creation of talent development initiatives and programs. Leverages company initiatives and program content when applicable across distribution centers and the retail field teams globally.This role reports to the VP, Talent Development and is primarily based in our Buckhead office with up to 20% travel to our Distribution Centers as needed.90% - Leads the design, development, and implementation of the Learning and Development Strategy for Global Retail Stores and Distribution CentersConducts regular business needs analysis for the Retail field and Distribution Centers to ensure the customer and client experience are metBuilds programs, training, and solutions to enable business growth and greater efficiency based on findingsStrategic business partner consulting with leaders to identify, build, and deliver solutions that produce business-driving outcomesBuilds and leads high-quality Talent Development programs and learning curricula globally to meet specific business needs and organizational priorities (e.g., orientation programs, onboarding curriculum, leadership academies, management development, learning content, skill-based education, succession planning, career development)Defines development objectives and activitiesCreates custom content and designs education sessionsOwns the process of liaising with the center of excellence leader, building strategic roadmap annually, and implementing the strategic planActs as a thought partner to key leaders of each business entityCoaches, facilitates, and leads new rollout of education sessions, workshops, and meetings for Retail Field/ Store and Distribution Center leadership in-person and virtuallyLeads key engagement initiatives in partnership with local HR to implement across client groups.
