A prominent law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney to join their team. This role focuses on providing comprehensive legal services in the areas of estate planning, asset protection, and trust and estate settlement. Ideal candidates will have expertise in complex estate planning and tax matters, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality service to clients.Duties:Handle complex estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and familiesDevelop asset protection strategies to safeguard clients’ wealthAdminister trusts and estates, including settling estates and distributing assetsPrepare and review transfer tax returns related to estates and trustsCollaborate with clients on international estate planning matters (a plus)Provide legal counsel and solutions in compliance with estate tax laws and regulationsSupport and guide clients through the probate processStay current on changes in trust and estate law, particularly those affecting tax policiesRequirements:Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in trusts and estates lawStrong background in complex estate planning, asset protection, and tax lawExperience in trust and estate settlementFamiliarity with transfer tax return preparationInternational estate planning experience is advantageousEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law schoolLL.M. in Taxation is requiredCertifications:Must be an active member of The Florida BarSkills:In-depth understanding of trust and estate law, particularly in tax mattersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactionAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and complianceJob Location:Miami, FL
