Represent insurance companies and their policyholders in workers' compensation claims and related disputes.Provide legal counsel and defense in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Conduct legal research to develop defense strategies.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Attend court hearings and make regular appearances.Handle depositions of fact and expert witnesses.Engage in the discovery process and prepare discovery motions.Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related field.Licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut.Strong litigation and courtroom experience.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Connecticut State Bar.Certifications:
Connecticut Bar Admission is required.Skills:
