Summary You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN (STUDENT MANAGEMENT) in CNATT UNIT OCEANA. Salary Range for GS-05: $40,132.00-$52,169 Salary Range for GS-06: $44,736.00-$58,159 Responsibilities You will operate computer databases (e.g., word, excel, PowerPoint) to compose educational correspondence, memoranda, reports, and instructions for the department. You will review reports with student information and statistics to compare with database statistics and correct discrepancies. You will process student data into computer systems to generate graduation roster by verifying students and respective assignments. You will make student reservations for attendance in appropriate courses of instruction and cancel or reassign reservations as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying military rank/rate structure, pay, travel regulations, and experience in validating/processing pay, travel, and travel order requests; 2) Managing curriculum status to ensure enrollment is correct; 3) Extracting and analyzing data from learning management systems to provide forms, documents, or reports on individual students; 4) Utilizing electronic software to prepare correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets; and 5) Verifying information for database entry. GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying of military rank/rate structure and military pay and travel regulations and experience in validating and processing military pay, travel, and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) requests; 2) Utilizing Military Curriculum Management and monitoring experience according to policies and procedures; 3) Utilizing military personnel support systems and management.
