Summary About the Position: Serves as the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Training Development Manager in the Center for Army Analysis, Simulation Proponent and School Division, located in Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities Serves as the Modeling and Simulation Training Development Manager in the Army Simulation Proponent and School Division. Responsible for actions and activities supporting human capital development for the Modeling and Simulation community of practice. Serve as the QA Program lead for analyzing and evaluating school operations and TRADOC regulations/standards to improve programs, processes, products and procedures. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes, developing lessons and/or updating and approving learning products for training purposes by utilizing the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) process; conducting surveys/studies in support of workforce development programs involving officer and civilian professional development; assessing requirements, courses and/or processes to support education and training programs; analyzing academic/personnel management documents including: professional development plans, training programs, policies, standards, and guidance; conducting school Quality Assurance Accreditation evaluations to provide recommendations for corrective action, including new or revised program requirements, guidance, training, or other appropriate measures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education and Training Modeling and Simulation Oral Communication Reasoning Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
