Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Redding, California office. This role is ideal for an attorney experienced in all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through trial and appeal. The firm specializes in insurance defense, public entity representation, personal injury, and employment law.Duties:Conduct thorough legal research and analyze case precedents to support legal strategies.Draft and review a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.Assist in case preparation and management, including trial preparation and settlement negotiations.Participate actively in legal proceedings, such as litigation, mediation, and arbitration.Utilize legal research tools, including Lexis-Nexis, to remain informed about the latest legal developments.Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate legal strategies and effectively present cases in court.Maintain detailed and accurate records of legal proceedings and case information.Provide exceptional client service while upholding a positive and professional demeanor.Ensure accurate daily billing and maintain detailed records of work performed.Requirements:Active license to practice law in the State of California.Strong writing skills with the ability to draft various legal documents effectively.Excellent research and analytical capabilities.Proficiency in legal research tools, particularly Lexis-Nexis.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:California State Bar License (required).Skills:Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Company info:
