This role offers an exciting opportunity for a legal professional to manage a wide variety of litigation defense cases, working with a team that emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and open communication.Duties:Manage a caseload of defense litigation, including product liability, catastrophic personal injury, and professional liability cases.Handle cases in general liability, premises liability, construction defect, and professional executive liability.Provide legal representation and advice in various civil litigation matters.Collaborate with the legal team, support staff, and technology resources to ensure efficient case management.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.Requirements:Minimum of 4+ years of litigation experience in defense matters.Active license to practice law in California.Experience in handling cases in product liability, personal injury, and professional liability.Strong understanding of California state and federal court procedures.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice in the state of California.Certifications:Skills:Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong legal research and writing abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.Proficient in the use of legal technology and case management systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
