Pre-litigation Supervising Attorney

A law firm seeks a Pre-Litigation Supervising Attorney to join its expanding team in Los Angeles, California. This role is ideal for an attorney passionate about personal injury law and committed to helping clients navigate the challenges posed by large insurance companies. Duties: Manage a substantial caseload while overseeing a team of Case Managers. Assist in case assessment and develop legal strategies to maximize case value. Oversee cases from initial intake through settlement, ensuring thorough management at every stage. Review performance metrics of Case Managers to ensure optimal efficiency. Negotiate and finalize settlements on behalf of clients. Review demands and complaints, providing expert insights. Interpret medical reports and bills to assess case value accurately. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding legal strategies and treatment plans. Analyze fact patterns to establish liability and clarify coverage issues. Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and delivering high-quality legal representation. Requirements: Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. 1 to 2 years of experience in personal injury law. Familiarity with legal software, preferably Casepeer. Strong negotiation, communication, and time management skills. Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to supervise and provide guidance to junior team members. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
