The Sales Coordinator 1 is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities pertaining to the sale and rental of equipment.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.Essential Functions:Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and MissionActs as the primary contact for internal customers as it pertains to Sales, Demos, Loaners, Heavy Rentals, and RPOsAssists, until able to independently manage, all logistics from order through delivery with transport, parts, and service to meet customer requests; this could encompass order receiving, knowledgeable equipment sourcing, account set up, and deliveryAssists, until able to independently manage, the life of rentals including contract management, insurance coverages, customer pricing, machine utilization, service requests, accurate invoicing, and credits; requires multitasking through several platforms such as Irental, Monday.com, Vision Link, Straight Docs, DSI and DBSEnsures accurate process is followed for CAT Commercial in-store credit card sales, authorizations, and creditsSchedules delivery and pick-up of inventory to maintain appropriate work tool stocking levels by transferring from supply hubsServes as process owner of Product Health Loaners via Monday.com; responsibilities entail being the liaison with CAT support representatives, sales management, and internal parts and service departments to ensure maximum reimbursementIssues and receives vendor purchase orders through CODAResponsible for answering incoming customer calls via RingCentral, inputting leads in Texada, and transferring requests to other departmentsMaintains and supports the Retail Customer Experience program to include machine staging, signage, and handling walk-in customer visitsServes as primary contact for all sales and rental asset prioritization through service departments via Monday.com; requires a strong ability to communicate and influence requests to support our customer's equipment availability needsRequires regular and punctual employee attendanceWorks safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standardsPerforms other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of the construction equipment sales industryKnowledge of business accounting principlesExcellent oral and written communication skillsExceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skillsIntermediate computer and related software applications skillsIntermediate MS Office Excel and PowerPoint skills; Advanced MS Word skillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional mannerAbility to read and understand information and ideas presented in writingAbility to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredUp to one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred

Travel:Up to 5% travel may be expected
