Plant Manager

Salary: $130,000 - 170,000/yearThe Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our metal fabrication plant, ensuring that production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal fabrication, a strong background in ISO 9001 quality management systems, and exceptional leadership skills.ResponsibilitiesOperations Management: Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in all processes.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and high performance.Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and operational challenges to upper management.Customer Focus: Work closely with sales and customer service teams to understand client needs and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing management, with a strong focus on ISO 9001.Proven experience leading and managing teams in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processes, machinery, and technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company goals.$130,000 - $170,000 a year
