The Attorney will be responsible for handling litigation cases from lawsuit filing through resolution. This would include propounding discovery, responding to discovery, preparing clients for and defending depositions, taking depositions, preparing for and attending mediations and settlement conferences, and preparing for trial.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases.
Conduct legal research and analysis.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials.
Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm.
Provide mentorship and guidance to other lawyers
Qualifications
Legal Research, Legal Writing, and Negotiation skills
Experience in advocating for clients in court
1-3 years - experience with personal injury law and insurance practices
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Membership in the State Bar of California
