Professional - ClinicalReq #: 20SummaryUnder the direction of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Clinical Dietitian is the medical nutrition expert responsible for coordinating all phases of nutrition care including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation of patients and clients. The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy services to clients in the inpatient areas. Educating clients and families both as individuals and in groups. The Clinical Dietitian participates in the department and hospital to promote organizational standards.There will be some travel between two campuses (Biddeford and Sanford) to provide dietitian coverage at both locations. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Dietitian required. Registration by the American Dietetic Association required. Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. 3. Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred. 4.
