SQL Developer

Third-party candidates will not be considered. Permanent residents only.This is a hybrid position (4 days per week onsite) in San Diego, CA, and no relocation assistance is available.Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.- Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.- Develop and manage database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to define and implement data requirements in a Scrum environment.- Perform data integration tasks, including ETL processes, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.- Monitor and maintain database security, backups, and recovery procedures.- Document database structures, processes, and procedures for future reference.- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide support for end-users.Skills & Requirements:- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server database development in sophisticated, commercial, web production environments.- Strong experience and proficiency in writing and optimizing T-SQL, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.- Experience with database design, development, and management.- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.- Familiarity with C#.NET for middle-tier development and integration with SQL databases.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field is preferred.tags: senior sql developer, senior database developer, senior database engineer, senior data engineer, senior database analyst, senior sql server database developer
