Job Description
Job Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable database solutions.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries for maximum efficiency.
Implement indexing strategies and optimize database structures.
Manage and manipulate data, including data cleansing and transformation.
Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate data movement.
US healthcare knowledge a plus.
Other related duties may be required.
Years of Experience Needed:
4 – 6 years
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with major relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
Understanding of database security practices.
Solid understanding of ANSI Standard SQL with the ability to query and update the database using complex SQL statements.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Working knowledge of Windows and Unix environments.
Familiarity with source/revision control and SDLC.
Self-review of code.
Certifications Needed:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent experience.
