Job Title: Electrical Engineering Professional IntermediateDirect HireLocation: Onsite in Conshohocken, PA 2-3 days/week (Hybrid)Relocation would be considered for the right candidate
Responsibilities:We need an intermediate-level electrical engineer who will work under the direction of a Senior level Electrical Engineer.This candidate should have an EIT and be working toward a PE license to design medium and low voltage power distribution systems, emergency generation, lighting, and hazard classified areas, life science style facilities including labs buildings, controlled environment storage, and pilot plant production buildings.Engineering and design of facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, equipment & construction specifications, and hazardous area classifications in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet.Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications.Directing activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements.Maintaining effective communication with project team members and with the customer.Using engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.We will consider candidates with similar experience from other industries including hospitals, industrial settings, manufacturing, and public utility companies.
Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.PE, Professional Engineer license, or EIT schedule required.3+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of buildings.Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash studies.Life Science and/or advanced manufacturing facility electrical design experience.Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software, Smartplant, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
