Job Overview:We seek a skilled Electrician to repair and maintain electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in an industrial environment.Education & Licensing:Must possess a Massachusetts Electrical License.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.Skill Requirements:Problem-SolvingBasic math skills and knowledge of simple industrial equipment.Ability to identify operational problems and provide effective remedies.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and move pallets weighing up to 1,000 pounds using material handling equipment.Must be able to work in confined spaces.Strong independent judgment skills for nonstandard procedures.Experience Requirements:Minimum of two years of experience as an industrial electrician.Technical Requirements:Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to read a variety of electrical meters.Proficiency in setting up and using a wide variety of hand and power tools.Ability to perform simple electrical calculations and read blueprints and schematics.Responsibilities:Perform remedial repairs and installations related to electrical equipment and facilities.Tasks include replacing lights and fuses, bending and installing conduit, pulling and terminating wires, and overhauling relays, circuit breakers, electric power motors, and motor bearings.Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.Ability to work in
confined spaces
and from ladders at heights up to 40 feet.Maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment, including replacing defective contactors and modules.Responsibilities also include snow removal, painting, cleaning, and hazmat duties.Maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment, including replacing defective contactors and modules.Knowledge of operating volt-ohm meter s, oscilloscopes, continuity testers, wire tracing equipment, and other tools used in electrical duties.Troubleshoot Equipment:Conduct PLC troubleshooting as well as installation.On-call availability as needed
