Nurse Practitioner
to join their growing inpatient Palliative Care team at
Atrium Health Pineville . Qualified candidates should demonstrate a record of experience with a strong interest in palliative care and advanced illness.Position Highlights:Inpatient roleJoin large team of experienced physicians, NP's, RN's, SW's, and chaplain support.Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pmAverage Daily Patient Volume: 5 - 6Weekend flexibility for call is required. Call coverage is approximately 5x/year. Primary call responsibilities are primarily telephonic. (Supervising Physician as backup call).Excellent work culture & collegiality among providers and staffIdeal Candidate:Graduate of an accredited NP program with a master's degree or doctorate degree in nursing practice (Acute Care and Adult preferred but will consider Family)Board Certified in Hospice & Palliative within 18 months of hire.Knowledge of medications and prescriptive authority per state law/current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.Experience in Palliative Care preferred.When you join Atrium Health, you will be welcomed into an inclusive culture that celebrates and respects the contributions a diverse team can make together.
