Experienced Senior Accountant

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting functions, including fixed asset accounting. This role involves ensuring accuracy of financial data recorded, compliance with accounting standards, and timely financial reporting. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. Execute a Monthly Close of the General Ledger and maintain the close schedule. Prepare journal entries for Month End Close and provide variance explanations. Reconcile balance sheet accounts in a timely manner and manage the fixed asset register. Record asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and ensure compliance with capitalization policies and procedures. Analyze monthly and year-end financial data to ensure accurate recording in accordance with GAAP. Assist in reviewing or preparing ancillary audit schedules and tax schedules. Research and resolve accounting transaction questions and other business unit issues. Perform special projects as required. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with 5 - 8 years of experience in accounting or related field. Hands on experience with SAP S4/Hana, including Financial Accounting Module preferred. Proficient in communication, change management, and learning new systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. CPA candidates who have passed at least three parts of the CPA exam may also be considered. Location: This position is based in the United States with minimal travel requirements.
