Associate Marketing Manager
collaborates with commercial business partners to drive processes, standardization, and execution to enable both sales and marketing enablement. This includes execution of market activation initiatives and cross-functional engagement, as necessary. Responsible for marketing operations functions including the communication, project management and internal processes that support the Pathology Lab marketing team. To the internal business partners/stakeholders, serves as a liaison/key point of contact for all questions/matters pertaining to marketing operations. Collaborates and coordinates with the marketing, sales operations, and other internal stakeholders to optimize practices. Synthesizes business data to provide insights that inform our commercial decisions, manages metrics of promotional asset lifecycle & utilization and drives solutions to optimize the way we work.Possesses and applies professional curiosity to gain market and customer insights. Leverages a strategic mindset and creative thought to inform and activate promotional activities that drive marketing effectiveness. Duties are varied and dynamic, requiring the ability to problem solve and implement process improvement. Provides direction on issues of area of experience and responsibility, and assists department leadership in optimizing the way we work to positively impact our business objectives and patient care.Responsible for collaborating and executing a comprehensive portfolio channel activation, metric and analysis strategy to accomplish business objectives. This includes driving or participation in the process for the business area annual operating plan; development and implementation of tactics; evaluation of tactics performance with metrics through business reviews; and effective utilization and communication with internal partners and/or external agencies.
Manages resources and budget to target all assigned programs with proactive communication on issues and opportunities.
Advises and manages stakeholders by reporting on special projects, business challenges and opportunities to senior management.
Drives impactful business solutions and positive change, while encouraging, motivating and empowering others and helping others to succeed.
Develops business area mastery to include understanding of market segments, business model, analysis of key metrics that define success, share performance, trends, competition, customer critical success factors and needs through interaction with customers for integration with programs.
Manages and serves as champion for marketing operations.
Directs, uses and translates market research and customer insight to shape product/portfolio strategies.
The right candidate exhibits the ability to be detail-oriented, an effective communicator, strong at stakeholder and project management, customer-centric, a critical and creative thinker, an effective planner, and a passionate learner.
Who You Are:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2 years of sales, marketing, communication, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Commercial experience within healthcare, with diagnostics preferred.
Relocation benefits are not available for this positionThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $66,000 to $122,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
