NASC GLOBAL is excited to partner with our client to find an Emergency Department Manager (Nights) in Georgetown, KY. This leadership role is essential for overseeing operations within the Emergency Department and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement departmental goals and standards that align with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical guidelines. Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring quality service, effective integration of information technologies, and management of patient complaints to meet performance objectives. Manage all aspects of departmental operations, including recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ongoing staff education. Monitor departmental budgets to ensure operations are maintained within allocated funding. Coordinate and lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Cultivate a professional growth environment and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical protocols.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Kentucky. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field. Successful completion of Level One in the Clinical Ladder Program annually for full-time and part-time employees. Strong critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and capability to work independently. Ability to thrive in a high-stress environment and respond effectively to challenging situations.
Desired Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and patient care management software. Familiarity with data analysis tools and reporting software.
Desired Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
