(Central Design & Estimating, T&S Engineering & Test and Technology Development) all report into T&D Engineering.Position SummaryThe Chief of Staff position will lead strategic planning and business management processes, budgeting, communications, performance measurement, affinity and co-worker engagement, and/or continuous improvement programs for the Vice President. Oversees complex projects and key initiatives. Plans, coordinates, and shapes content for meetings, activities, and communications for the officer. Represents the officer for various strategic planning processes, communications, and programs. This position reports to the Vice President – Electric T&D EngineeringPG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.
The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.A reasonable salary range is:Bay Area Minimum: $136,000Bay Area Midpoint: $184,000Bay Area Maximum: $232,000Job ResponsibilitiesLeads KPI development and the Lean Operating System implementation in close collaboration with the VP’s Direct Reports.
Organizes and facilitates DORs, WORs and MORs to ensure effectiveness of reviews.Develops and shapes content for various executive forums ensuring execution of key strategic objectives.Leads effort to coordinate, understand, analyze, and determine action plans to address improvement opportunity areas across the organization (e.g., benchmarking, upward feedback, Joy at Work, etc.).Manage coordination of employee engagement programs for organization as well as co-worker development initiatives.Take on ad hoc projects that may arise in order to support the organization’s needs with minimal supervision.Additional responsibilities may include
