ABOUT THE POSITION : Rare opportunity to join our IT team! We are looking for a experienced Systems Administrator to own our servers, storage and backup solutions across our 4 facilities.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
To begin, we would prefer candidates who have a technical associate degree (or more,) along with mid-size manufacturing experience. However, this is not a deal breaker! (We just want someone who has worn a variety of hats versus specific, narrowly scoped roles.) Additionally, someone who has 3+ years of experience managing a Microsoft-based domain environment would be able to hit the ground running in this role!HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:You will
EXPLORE, INNOVATE, and PERFORM:By installing, configuring and maintaining all servers, storage and backup solutionsBy ensuring the security and reliability of core infrastructure within the organization including backups, identity management, data security and disaster recovery/business continuity plansBy providing daily administration and support of server and network operating systems and enterprise aBy working with partners on larger scale projects and initiativesBy managing core licensing and renewalsBy troubleshooting and fixing end-user application and system problemsBy serving as 2nd level service desk and end user trainerBy collaborating with employee development to train users on key standard applicationsBy driving toward the department metric goals focused on "On Time to Delivery"By providing mentorship to Service Desk TechniciansBy actively participating in business projects by collaborating with business teams and IT peers to create value-added technology solutionsBy understanding business software tools available and help end users deploy appropriate tools to meet business needs
Experience needed:3+ years of experience managing a Microsoft-based domain environmentMust be experienced with Microsoft core technologies, including Server 2008 and later, Active Directory and Exchange.Experience with VMWare and SANExperience managing WAN, firewall, VPN and wireless infrastructureExperience in a manufacturing environment a plus!

Associates of Information Technology (preferred)Experience
3 years: Experience working in a Microsoft-based domain environment (preferred)
