You will collaborate with the project team to develop project controls strategies and plans that align with project objectives, contract requirements, and company policiesFurther, you will lead project controls engineers and schedulers, providing guidance and support for scheduling, cost control, risk management, progress tracking, and planning activitiesIn this role, you will monitor, analyze, and report on project progress, cost performance, and risk exposure as well as collaborate with the project team to develop plans to address areas of concern and achieve project objectivesYou will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of project controls data and information, as well as implement quality assurance processes to achieve reliable and consistent project outcomesYou will develop and maintain project schedules as well as collaborate with project team members to identify project milestones and critical path analysisFurther, you will monitor project costs against budget and forecast; as well as collaborate with project managers to develop cost estimates, identify cost variances, and develop corrective action plansYou also will manage change management processes to ensure changes are accurately documented and incorporated into project plans and cost estimates

What makes you great

You have a BS / BA in Business Administration, Construction, or equivalent combination of education and experience and minimum ten (10) years experience managing the project control, scheduling, or project management function for an engineering and construction companyMoreover, you have effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Outlook, and other Company and discipline specific software applications, e.g. Primavera P6, MSP, etcHands-on experience in project controls in a construction environment required; including scheduling, earned value measurement, cost forecasting, and project risk managementExperience leading and managing a team of planners/schedulers on a construction siteIn addition, you have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the companyEnglish Skills (spoken and written) are requiredects
