Scrum Master with an active TS/SCI clearance
for
hybrid
work in Suitland, Maryland. The Scrum Master supports Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) capabilities of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Nimitz Operational Intelligence Command (OIC).
Work with the stakeholders and client to help keep existing applications running while designing and modernizing the future state as Scrum Master and lead a team of developers and integrators in the agile process. Keep the team and the product owner on track and organized.
Responsibilities:Demonstrated experience in software development processes supporting the entire software lifecycle and the use of agile sprint methodologiesFamiliarity with DevSecOps and cloud migration processes and experience leading delivery teams overseeing migration of large systems to the CloudWill work to provide introduction, adoption, and maturity of Agile methodologies and processes across customer initiatives.Review project schedules with project managers; communicate overall status to Program Manager and other stakeholdersWill provide training, ongoing instruction, and leadership for Agile team(s)Serve as a subject matter expert and coach on Agile values and practicesFacilitate team retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendationsPromote a collaborative team environmentPromote an environment of continuous improvementIdentify metrics and goals for Agile adoption and maturityConstantly coaching team members, guiding their understanding of and embodying agile principles and values.Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership by exhibiting the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile mindset.Help the team embrace SAFe Core Values, adopt, and apply SAFe Principles, and implement SAFe practices.Ability to track and remove impedimentsHelp team increase transparency of work in progress.Transmits information between the team and stakeholders to ensure alignmentAssists team or individuals to clarify goals and actions to achieve themProficiency in estimation and planningEffective communicator with the ability to maintain a cohesive teamUnderstand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmentRequired Qualifications

Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible.Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages.Working Conditions:
Environmental ConditionsContractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.Strength DemandsSedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. $125,000 - $150,000 a year
401(k) company contribution equivalent to 10% of employee's salary, immediately 100% vested, no matching required. 100% company paid dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Employer-provider health insurance, employee and family coverage, 85% company paid. 6 weeks annual paid time off for holidays, vacation, and sick leave. 12 weeks paid family leave, 2-5 days bereavement leave, and 2 weeks Military Reserve Duty differential pay provided for qualifying events.
