Job Description:
As a Database Administrator, you'll be a key part of the technology team, responsible for the administration and performance management of relational database systems. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to oversee data loads, manage database activities, and analyze reporting and business intelligence tools for efficient database use. We seek a detail-oriented individual skilled at identifying and resolving complex issues. This hybrid role offers a balance between in-office and remote work.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of SQL and other database systems.Provide high-level technical support on database, application, and web server issues to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime, based on customer needs.Design, install, and maintain SharePoint, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools, optimizing productivity and system stability.Offer strategic guidance to stay current with advancements in database, application, and server technologies.Position Requirements:
Associate degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience.Experience with Windows Server and IT support.Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.Understanding of data security protocols and protection practices.Ability to support Microsoft Windows and web servers.Skill in identifying performance issues on Microsoft Windows Servers and making necessary enhancements.Experience monitoring alert and system logs, assessing issue severity, and engaging appropriate teams for resolution.Familiarity with Windows 2019 and 2022 Server platforms, as well as virtualization environments.Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FISMA, Red Flag) and relevant security standards.Expertise in managing Windows Application Servers, interfaces, SharePoint, and web services.Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills with an aptitude for engaging with diverse levels of staff.Preferred Requirements:
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.Familiarity with Power Platform tools.Reasons to Apply:
