Ripple Effect is looking for a Web Development Manager with nine years of experience to support our client's mission. This role will be on the Digital Transformation team and will work with other teams to oversee the development of high-quality websites, collaborate with designers, and implement best practices to ensure optimal website performance and user experience. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, as well as contribute to the planning and execution of web development projects.

Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.Managing clients and projects to accomplish goals.Overseeing the work quality of more junior web development staff.Understanding UX/UI best practices and 508 accessibility.Web design wireframe and graphics designer.Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques, scripting and object-oriented languages and databases (e.g. HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL) to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, web apps, special effects, databases, and e-business applications.Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.Troubleshoot a variety of issues including script and plugin errors, media integration, and website usability.Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites including Ripple Effect's.Optimize websites using industry best practices for both functionality and search engine results.Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.Create and maintain software documentation.Other duties, as assigned.Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience

High School Diploma9 years of relevant experienceBasic Requirements

Expert WordPress and Drupal knowledge and other Content Management SystemsExcellent documentation skills, including with requirements gatheringTop-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSSKnowledge of multiple programming languages such as Javascript and PythonExperience with jQuery and other web development libraries and frameworksBasic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization processAggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelinesExperience with GovCon web management and 508 accessibilityAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniquesHighly organized, efficient, and extremely detail-orientedDemonstrated strength in oral and written communication skills, including professional emailsAbility to work productively and collaboratively in SharePoint to accomplish tasksTo be successful at Ripple Effect, you must be able to pay attention to details, clearly communicate, work independently, and have an eagerness to learn.
