Accounting Manager, Hybrid (125K-130K)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager for a leading provider of engineering, construction, and asset management services in the industrial markets, located by the DFW airport. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing effective financial controls within the company.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, with at least 7 years of experience, including 2 years in an Accounting Manager role, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
This position pays 125K-130K+Bonus and it is
in office ONLY 1 day per week.

Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring smooth execution of general accounting activities such as payroll processing, accounts payable, and ledger maintenance.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.
Oversee the calculation and reconciliation of the Work in Progress (WIP) schedule for fabrication projects, ensuring accurate tracking of costs and revenues.
Lead team development by setting performance goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating training initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
Continuously review and refine internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure they remain up-to-date and effective in supporting operational efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments, providing financial insights and support to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.
Support external audits by coordinating the preparation of financial documentation, researching audit inquiries, and ensuring compliance with audit requests.
Client Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, with a minimum of 7 years of related experience, including at least 2 years managing accounting teams.
Prior experience in the construction or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
CPA or CMA certification is preferred
Pay Details:
$125,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
