Position Overview:Our client is looking for an experienced IT Technician skilled in computer imaging and deployment using the LCR (Load, Clone, and Restore) methodology. This role is crucial for ensuring end-users have a standardized and consistent computing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for imaging computers with Windows 10 via PXE booting into Microsoft Config Manager, managing hardware replacements, and providing seamless support to the team.
Key Responsibilities:Computer Imaging & Deployment:
Implement the LCR methodology to load, clone, and restore computer images, ensuring all systems are set up with a standardized configuration.
OS Installation:
Perform imaging processes to install and configure Windows 10 using PXE boot and Microsoft Config Manager.
Hardware Collection & Deployment:
Interact directly with end-users to collect outdated hardware and deploy new systems, minimizing any disruption to their workflow.
Asset Tracking & Communication:
Work closely with our Logistics team, providing accurate asset tags for old and new equipment to maintain efficient tracking and assignment.
Qualifications:
Experience with computer imaging and deployment, particularly with the LCR methodology, PXE booting, and Microsoft Config Manager.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with end-users and logistics teams.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing and tracking hardware assets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment and meet deployment deadlines.
Additional Details:
Citizenship Requirement:
U.S. citizen only.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Pay Rate:
$27 per hour.
