IT Cloud Security Director III
to join their team. This remote role is ideal for a senior cloud security leader with expertise in identity and access management (IAM), cloud governance, and containerization. The IT Cloud Security Director III will shape cloud security strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster partnerships across teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic IAM Leadership : Lead the design and implementation of IAM solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, setting standards to maintain secure access and compliance.
Governance and Compliance : Develop and enforce IAM policies and best practices to ensure alignment with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate IAM solutions into CI/CD pipelines, supporting the organization's cloud security and compliance objectives.
Incident Response & Security Management : Oversee IAM-related security incidents, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Technical Oversight : Guide cloud security processes using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, while supporting IAM solutions such as Okta and multi-factor authentication systems.
Required Skills:5+ years of experience in IAM, cloud security, or cloud engineering, with a focus on governance and compliance.
Strong expertise in IAM concepts, tools, and frameworks, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Deep understanding of GCP and AWS cloud platforms, with proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of influencing cloud security practices and collaborating across departments.
Additional Skills:Familiarity with cloud security practices, InfoSec protocols, and tools like Okta, Azure AD, and GCP/AWS IAM.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD integration, and cloud security strategy.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Security, Certified Identity and Access Manager, or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm (central time)
Pay range: $63-$84 per hour (D.O.E.)
Employment type: 1 year contract
