Job Responsibilities

Under limited supervision the APRN will perform advanced nursing functions in specialized areas to include but not limited to women's health, PrEP for HIV prevention, communicable diseases, and immunizations. The APRN will operate under written nurse protocol and prescriptive authority agreements with their delegating physician to conduct physicals, provide treatment, counsel clients, complete referrals, perform case management/clerical tasks, prescribe medication, and perform additional tasks/duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:Previous Public Health experience strongly preferred; previous experience administering services in the areas of family planning, women's health and PrEP for HIV prevention. Must be comfortable working with clients of all ages.Additional Information
