Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and solution-driven eCommerce Specialist to support our Retail eCommerce business. In this role, you will manage product listings, maintain and audit product data, map product channels using Salsify, assist with promotional activities, and support merchandising efforts. Reporting to the National Account Sales Manager, eCommerce, you will contribute to growth within our eCommerce channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
Support the Sales Manager with path-to-purchase activities, such as gathering sales data, tracking promotions, and assisting with retail partner communication. Over time, assume direct account management responsibilities, including participating in retailer meetings and building partner relationships.
Retail Portal Management:
Manage product listings in retail partner portals, ensuring content meets retailer standards and compliance guidelines. Collaborate with retail partners to support merchandising efforts and optimize product visibility.
Content and Product Data Maintenance:
Maintain, audit, and optimize product content across retailer platforms, using SEO best practices to enhance visibility, search rankings, and conversions.
Channel Mapping in Salsify:
Work on channel mapping within Salsify to ensure seamless product data syndication across retail partner sites.
Promotional Support:
Assist in executing promotional campaigns, updating product pricing, and tracking sales data. Contribute to strategy implementation and compile performance reports to support eCommerce growth initiatives.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with peers across sales, marketing, product, and content teams to ensure product content, images, and availability contribute to a seamless customer experience.
Problem Solving:
Address any product setup issues or discrepancies proactively to maintain high standards across all platforms.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in eCommerce, retail sales coordination, or digital marketing. Experience with eCommerce retailers (e.g., Wayfair, Walmart, Target.com) is preferred but not required.
Client Relationship Skills:
Interest in building strong working relationships with retail partners and taking on increasing responsibilities related to retailer communication over time.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, content management systems (like Salsify), and strong Excel skills.
Team Player and Learner:
Collaborative mindset with a strong interest in learning and growing within the eCommerce environment.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electricity.
Collaboration and Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Travel:
Up to 10% travel may be required, primarily to visit retail partner locations, attend industry events, or participate in team meetings.
