by applying your expertise within the Tissue Group division of our team as a Process Lead.
Define standard processes for managing centerlines (CL) and rapid changeovers (RCO), ensure that processes are executed properly, and review & improve processesWork with production planners to optimize production schedule and grade changesCalibrate centerline and document management (standard operating procedures "SOP's")Collects and analyzes data on quality and production variances and creates action plan to mitigate varianceShare best practices with other members of the line centric teams and operators and promote safety within the millCommunicate any procedural issues with suppliersSupport large / small scale projects / modifications in area including machine parts design, in collaboration with the CI manager and the project managerContinuously improve standards and processes related to CL and RCOUtilize centerline to troubleshoot and ensure correct base conditionTrain and coach operators on best practices for CL and RCOSupport Autonomous Asset Management Pillar, and Quality PillarAssess asset performance and lead corrective action planExecute product development/qualification processBring out the best in yourself!

Your Strengths:
Bachelor's degree in chemical and/or engineering, industrial technology, or other related degree. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degreeMinimum of five (1-2) years' experience as a process/quality engineer or engineering technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. (Experience in the paper industry is considered a definite asset)Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft OfficeExperience leading and coaching teamsDemonstrates good analytical and problem-solving skills and brings strong organizational and prioritization skillsExperience and understanding of Lean Production System principlesStrong interpersonal skills; ability to work well and communicate with othersOpen to occasional travel to Canada and US mills for training and collaboration.
