Position Overview
The Contractor shall assist the Sponsor in facilitating diversity management strategy; and shall support the Sponsor in facilitating diversity and inclusion content as well as carrying out in-depth facilitation sessions on a variety of diversity and inclusion topics. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Ability to facilitate diversity, equity, and inclusion conversations.Ability to manage conflicts and employ immediate interventions; make design changes on the spot and tailor content to meet the needs of the target audienceFacilitate customized training content for the organizationDesign and implement process interventions in response to complex organizational issuesFacilitate group discussions and respond to queriesQualifications
Experienced facilitator practitioner (7+ years) in facilitator's area of expertiseExperience in adult teaching and facilitationBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Education, Curriculum Development, Workforce Training and Development, Human Resources, Sociology, Organizational Psychology, or closely related field requiredDemonstrated understanding of learning and development, training, or a related area, with the ability to develop and deliver creative and powerful learning solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organizationAbility to use facilitative behaviors such as active listening, paraphrasing, questioning, summarizing, using tools like problem solving and action planningAbility to design and conduct interviews and focus groupsAbility to design and implement process interventions in response to complex organizational issuesExcellent communication, editing, and writing skillsExperience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and PowerPointAbility to gather, compile, evaluate, and interpret complex information, as well as clearly present this information to stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills (analysis, judgment, information seeking)Ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starterRequired Skills

Minimum of seven years of experience working on DEI learning strategies and programsWillingness to TDY CONUS and OCONUS to deliver in-person DEIA Training and consultations.Ability to consolidate ideas from a mass of information into coherent summariesAbility to help a group set goals and objectives that are measurableAbility to work in a dynamic and challenging environmentAbility to coordinate with diversity practitioners and supervisors and managers in the design of the facilitation interventionKnowledge about terminology/well-versed in language connected to diversity, equity, and inclusion topics
