The Full Stack Engineer at Fusion will help build a new platform from scratch, focusing on creating a scalable, modern application on Microsoft Azure with cloud-native infrastructure, modern tools, and generative AI. This strategic, hands-on role offers autonomy to shape architecture, explore innovation, and validate long-term strategies for impactful technology. Architect and develop a cloud-native application on Microsoft Azure, delivering prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and guide decisions. Utilize generative AI tools and modern frameworks to accelerate development. Assess cost, performance, scalability, and trade-offs in Azure implementations. Create reference architecture and document best practices for a scalable platform. Contribute to a team playbook outlining structure, skills, and investment needs. Collaborate with the CTO's office and share insights with internal teams for transparency. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams. Collaborative mindset and respect for evolving platform needs. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus but not required. Qualifications
Proven experience as a full stack engineer delivering enterprise SaaS on Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in backend tech such as Java or .NET. Experience with DevOps tools like CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git. Experience using generative AI tools for productivity and innovation. Expertise in Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, and IaaS/PaaS components. Skills in front-end development using modern MVC frameworks and JavaScript. Milestones for the First Six Months
In One Month, You Will
Understand Fusion’s industry, customers, and challenges. Review use cases and client success stories. Build relationships with internal stakeholders. In Three Months, You Will
Deepen understanding of the product ecosystem. Define technical vision and architecture. Create initial design artifacts and proposals. In Six Months, You Will
Deliver a working MVP demonstrating core capabilities. Document decisions and identify areas for iteration. Present MVP and contribute to future roadmap discussions.
