Position DescriptionCGI has an immediate need for a Front-End Heavy, Java Full Stack Developer (Angular)to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. Your future duties and responsibilitiesWork on cloud transformation effort, move application components to AWS, update code, create/run CICD pipeline.Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to the original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.Participate in all agile ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration, and team retrospectives.Leverage client DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy in the cloud platform, test, and promote new or updated features.This position demands 60% front end and 40% backend knowledge.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role7+ years overall IT experience4+ years of experience developing web-based GUI with JavaScript and its libraries/frameworks including Angular.2+ years' experience Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Integration and Spring SecurityCompetent in distributed systems design and implementation. Experience with Object-Oriented Design and test-driven development.Must be familiar with working in a Federated Access AWS environmentUnderstanding of information security scanning and monitoring toolsAdvanced proficiency in unit testing/Mockito as well as coding in Java 8 and Spring Boot technologiesExperience in testing automation using Junit/Mockito, CucumberHands-On experience with database development using SQLKnowledge of UNIX (Linux) environmentExperience with build tools like Maven/GradleExperience working in Agile environment, preferably SAFeSuperior time management and work organizationStrong verbal and oral communicationWork as a team in a fast paced agile environmentPassion for continuous improvement and learningGood hands-on knowledge in Spring/ Springboot microservices.Good hands-on knowledge in Advanced SQL and Stored Procedures.Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field#LI-TM8

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,300.00 - $146,900.00.
