Associate Executive Director of IDD Services
in
Atlantic County, NJ
to manage high-quality residential programs and supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person is responsible for managing a fiscally self-sustaining program in full alignment with state regulations and Community Options’ (COI) mission. The Associate Executive Director is responsible for all operations for the assigned region including compliance, operational growth and development, and budgeting.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all daily operations and compliance with state licensing and reporting standardsAssess operational issues and develop comprehensive solutions to maintain a high-qualityprogramMaximize revenue streams and minimize expenditures to maintain a fiscally self-sustainingbudgetLead and train team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the uniqueneeds of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesManage team performance through effective communication, training, performancemanagement, staff meetings, and employee recognitionDevelop current and future programs including residential supports, personalized supports,supported employment, and person-centered planningDevelop a Business Advisory Committee to support local operational needs and challengesEstablish and maintain effective relationships with local, state, and governmental agenciesEnsure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timelyAdditional tasks and responsibilities may be assignedEmployee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, orinvestigationMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree required with experience in administrative and supervisory rolesMaster’s degree preferredValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordComplete all state and agency required training per state guidelinesCollaborative with demonstrated leadership experienceExperience with problem-solving against multiple prioritiesAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receivingsupportsEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testingWhy Community Options?
