We are now hiring a
Licensed
Clinician
in
Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Licensed Clinician is part of a team that assists children and youth and their families through crises to success.
This position will require travel to Santa Fe & Las Cruces to support operational need.
Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between the program and the familyProvide family therapy with the family of origin or natural supports with regularity so that thefamily is aware of their child’s ongoing treatment and challenges. They will also interact withthe family and the CFT during the referral and admission processComplete a Biopsychosocial (BPS) assessment and other assessments as needed and reportwithin the first week of admissionComplete IMDS SNA updates within the first 24 hours and as needed inconjunction/coordination with CFTDevelop a comprehensive individualized treatment and transition plan (within the first week,and update as required)Provide individual therapy as indicated in the youth treatment planAttend and facilitate treatment team meetingsAdditional tasks and responsibilities may be assignedEmployee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, orinvestigationEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background,central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing.Minimum Requirements
Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field and alicense to practice independently in NM, including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, Ph.D.Minimum of one year experience working with youth and family systemsMinimum of one year experience working with people who have IDD and mental health and/or challenging behavioral needsValid driver’s license with satisfactory driving recordAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receivingsupportsAbility to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situationsDemonstrated understanding and use of evidence-based practicesAbility to collect, interpret, and graph dataAbility to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written formWhy Community Options?
