Job Description:Ab Initio Developers are responsible for development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing, and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation, and performance testing of purchased products. Developers are assigned to moderately complex development projects and will be well versed in data quality processes and data governance procedures to ensure data is fit for consumption.
Required Education/Qualifications:Related Bachelor’s degree or related work experience5+ years of related work experience, professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industryDirect hands-on experience with Ab Initio, SQL, Unix ScriptingExperience collaborating effectively with vendors and business partners for solution deliveryExperience with ETL development tools (i.e. Informatica, Mulesoft, Talend, Datastage, SSIS)Experience with testing methodologies with the stated major development language(s)/technologyExperience with a major relational database management system preferred; experience with NoSQL databases is also a plusExperience with Linux operating system is a plus; RHEL preferredKnowledge of messaging engines is helpfulExperience with RESTful services and JSON preferredCloud experience preferred
