Our focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across three main verticals: mass-market consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT.This role is located in Bangalore, India where we are onsite 3 days a week in the office.Summary Of How You Will Impact SkyloSkylo Technologies is hiring a Cloud QA Engineer to help fulfill Skylo’s mission of making satellite connectivity available to all. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Platform and Cloud systems through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes. This person will play a key role in validating Data Mobility Platform and Cloud Services in our GCP infrastructure. The right candidate will combine a depth of technical knowledge with a passion for creating best-in-class automation scripts, load testing, and validating Skylo Cloud infrastructure.How You Will ContributeDesign and implement Automation test suite to validate Customer facing Rest APIs and all the features of Cloud Components.Develop framework and test suite for load and regression testing. Candidate would be responsible for validating the system with millions of data transactions, generating reports and KPIs.Automate build process with regression test suite using Jenkins pipeline and Robot Framework.Automate operational processes related to network management, provisioning, and configuration.Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve overall efficiency.Ensure that changes to the Skylo network are version-controlled and reproducible.Set up monitoring solutions to measure the health and performance of both software applications and network infrastructure.Collaborate with telecom engineers, software developers, and other cross-functional teams to streamline QA processes and enhance collaboration.Inculcate accountability and ownership within the team by promoting robust test framework and design, automate validation and build process and documentation practices.What We Look ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.5+ years of proven experience as a Cloud QA Engineer in the software industry.Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud technologies, and architectures.Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework, JMeter, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, etc.) and Load Generator Tools.Ability to use Jenkins for test automation.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Understanding of Code Quality and performance metrics.Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g. Git).Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies relevant to the telecom industry.Experience with network configuration management tools.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP).Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams.Relevant certifications in Cloud QA.What We OfferWith employees working across three continents, Skylo is proud to be an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
