The ideal candidate will have experience investigating cyber incidents, guiding clients through breach analysis and notification processes, and handling administrative and litigation matters in cybersecurity.Duties:Investigate and analyze cybersecurity incidents, advising clients on response strategies and compliance requirements.Provide counsel on data breach notification processes and oversee client communications.Support clients in cyber-related administrative investigations and litigation.Draft and review legal documentation, including breach response reports and compliance-related materials.Offer assistance to other practice areas as needed, particularly in civil litigation and administrative law.Represent clients in proceedings before judges, arbitrators, or administrative panels, as applicable.Be available to respond to urgent situations that may arise during evenings or weekends.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, breach response, or related litigation.Active license to practice law in Texas (Required).Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Advocacy experience before legal or administrative panels is an asset.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership with the Texas State Bar (Required).Skills:Expertise in cybersecurity law, including breach investigation and compliance guidance.Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving in cyber incidents.Effective written and verbal communication abilities for client advisement and document drafting.Adaptable to high-pressure situations, with availability for urgent responses.Proficiency in legal research and document management.This position is ideal for an attorney passionate about cybersecurity and breach response, looking to expand their experience within a supportive law firm environment.
