ASP.Net Developer

e&e is seeking an ASP.Net Developer for a remote contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!We are seeking an experienced and skilled Developer with 6-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications in large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented design patterns and enterprise architecture, with a focus on modern web technologies, UI development, and responsive frameworks.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test software solutions for web-based applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement system architecture and development requirements.Develop user interfaces using responsive frameworks, with a preference for Vue.js.Write and maintain clean, well-structured code in ASP.NET, VB.NET, and JavaScript frameworks.Implement web services, XML, XSLT, Ajax, jQuery, and ADO.NET for building scalable applications.Develop and optimize SQL Server programming (stored procedures, functions, and triggers).Participate in source control management using TFS/GIT and adhere to best practices for version control.Develop use cases, process flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.Collaborate in an agile environment, working both independently and as part of a team.Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high-performance and reliable web applications.Required Skills6-8 years of experience in web application development in large environments.3-5 years of experience with object-oriented design patterns and enterprise architecture.Hands-on experience building modern and responsive web applications using JavaScript frameworks, especially Vue.js.2+ years of UI development experience using responsive frameworks (Vue.js preferred, but Angular or React.js also considered).Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, and ADO.NET.4-6 years of experience in SQL Server programming, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Proficiency with TFS/GIT source control systems.Familiarity with HTML and CSS for front-end development.Experience with developing use cases and process flow diagrams.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Preferred SkillsExperience with user interface design best practices.Experience with Vue.js in at least one project.Familiarity with automated build, unit testing, and integration systems.We are looking for a developer who is passionate about creating high-quality web applications and can bring strong technical skills along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
