**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Previous travel experience recommended
**License:** Registered Nurse license
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
**Must-Have:**- Cerner experience- Prior experience in areas such as sepsis, stroke, heart failure, pneumonia, respiratory failure, substance withdrawal, epilepsy, trauma, post-op, myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, non-titratable cardiac drips, IV medications, vital signs/nursing interventions
**Job Description:**- Support a unit with a Nurse Patient Ratio of 4-5:1 on a floor with 51 beds- Charting and documentation using the Cerner system- Adhere to the uniform policy of wearing navy blue scrubs- Floating to intermediate and medical/surgical areas as needed- Perform special procedures such as chest tube insertion, PICC, and central line insertion at bedside- Care for patients requiring dialysis and EMU monitoring- Work every other weekend as part of the rotation- Participate in regular nursing interventions and administer medications- Conduct vital sign monitoring routinely every 4 hours or more frequently as needed
