Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced CT procedures and produce high-quality scans for diagnostic interpretation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Minimum of 3 years of experience is required essential, pediatric experience required, EPIC experience required, and Siemens experience required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT procedures, including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, and CT angiograms.
Operate CT equipment, selecting appropriate technical factors for optimal imaging.
Ensure accurate identification on images, maintaining 100% compliance with patient demographics.
Document all related data meticulously and maintain the integrity of patient records.
Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, and the general public.
Identify, process, transfer, and archive patient exams and related information securely.
Maintain and secure radiology information systems, resolving complex issues as they arise.
Orient and train fellow staff technologists, developing and delivering in-service presentations.
Be available for on-call status, including weekends and holidays, and be flexible with assigned shifts.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in computed tomography is required, with essential pediatric experience.
Proficiency in EPIC and Siemens imaging systems is mandatory.
Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
Familiarity with radiology information systems and HIPAA regulations.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
